Aric Almirola won the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, holding off Christopher Bell in the closing laps. The race was cut just eight laps short of the scheduled distance due to darkness. The win is his first win of the year, first at New Hampshire and third career win. Almirola secured a position in the Playoffs with the win.
